A few food questions

Hi all I had a few extra food questions. I have yet to get the book but I'm hoping to find it at costco this week.

1) Are cashews permitted in phase one? I didn't see it on the list. If it's not on the list it's not allowed?

2) I've read that you need to keep the carb count to 2grams or less per serving in phase one. So if a bottle reads 2.ograms of carbs/serving..are you only allowed one serving of that food or can you eat as much as needed at a particular meal. eg. salad drsg..one serving is only 1tbsp..this hardly will cover a 3cup bowl of salad.

Today is day 8 and it is going pretty good. I'm still able to resist baked goods, breads etc..with little difficulty. Scale is kinda at a standstill at 9lbs. Still a bit moody and finding it hard to get through my morning workouts.Even when I try eating beforehand, something which i hadn't before. I'm still much weaker, less endurance. I just find I am so hungry when i wake up, I need to eat too.

Thanks,

Suzanne

Hi Suzanne,

I'll try to answer some of your questions.

I found morning workouts difficult the first two weeks- if your time allows, shift to afternoons for now. Now it doesn't make a difference, but I remember feeling kind of weak the one morning I tried.

I use 2 tablespoons of blue cheese on most of my salads but it spreads out better if I have oil and vinegar.

I love almonds! Never used to but I do now.
