Phase One - Weakness and shaking

Hello,

I'm on Phase one this is only day 2 for me. Last night I woke up and felt terrible. I felt weak and was sweating and shaking. I went to get some water and I ate a few vegetable sticks and then went back to bed. When I woke up this morning I still felt very, very weak I decided to grab a pop to give me some sugar and then I started to feel better. (the pop was not diet) Is it possible my blood sugar dropped to low? Just curious if anyone else has ever experienced this?

Thanks

I posted the same thing the morning of day 2 for me too!!!! don't have time to look for the link right now, but the best advice I got was to have a small cup of skim milk!!! Worked like a charm! (even better than the peanut butter cup I tried the first time). The lactose in the milk does the trick. And yes, it is totally normal. Your body needs to get used to the lack of sugar in your diet, that is why skipping snacks is not allowed!! :)

I'm now on day 28 or so and after day 3 I never had that feeling again.

Good luck,

It's not uncommon.

It must be a day 2 thing then, because today at the end of my work day I felt very strange. I recalled something Dr. A said about it in his book. He told some story of a dude who felt the same way, ate some carbs, then was craving them the rest of the day. So we're not off our rockers. I think the veggie sticks was a great idea. I had some pistachios and spent some time with a foster rabbit. It help divert my attention and calm my nerves.

Next time, you'll do great!
