I haven't been to the bathroom in three now about four days except for urinating.

So I went the the cafeteria here at work and got me a 1 1/8 oz box of frosted flakes

and ate that along with some skim milk. I hate feeling like this.. can't believe all of that food that I've ate over the last four days is still sitting in my body ~ yuck.

I'll continue with it for now but think next week I'm just going to try to eat healthy.

I like the Weight Watchers plan a little better, I wasn't soo fatigued.

Don't despair!

When I was in Phase 1 back in the old days (JK, but I've been in P2 forever it feels like), there was one point where I didn't "go" for five days! How did I remedy it? I bought Dulcolax. Since then I've maybe used it once. Now that my body is more than used to this WOE, I "go" daily.

So give your body a chance to adjust to this and to the fatigue; I'm sure you'll feel great before too long!

Cheese has a tendency to constipate me a bit, maybe you should cut some of that out. Adding some more lean protiens might help with the fatigue too. Also, I noticed you are snacking on carrots and I believe they aren't allowed in phase 1.

Adding metamucil and green tea should definately help. Watching carbs alone doesn't always work to lose weight, its the RIGHT carbs that are important. I hope you don't give up yet, this diet/woe really does work it just takes your body a few days to get used to it.

Good luck,

Sue

I notice alot of cheese in your menu, which can cause constipation and weight loss stalls.

How to adapt your meal plan - Phase 1

The South Beach Diet™ is designed so that you can easily swap meals and ingredients. If you don't like eggs for breakfast, have low-fat cottage cheese or lean meat instead. Not a fish lover? Then choose lean beef or poultry. In Phase 1 of the diet, you can eat as many proteins and vegetables as you like, plus fats like olive oil. Fruit and starches aren't allowed until Phase 2. Here's a look at some general eating guidelines. For specific food choices, check out the Phase 1 Foods to Enjoy & Avoid list.

I experienced before a severe constipation,1 week due to stress and ways of eating.I took laxatives before but after that nothings change another week of constipation. But Now its gone,im a fast eater before and now i chew foods properly(dont hurry when eating),try some exercise for intestines(hullahopping), im taking cloves of garlic thrice a week(according to studies it prevents colon cancer), i drink plenty of water(before going to sleep) and i followed a program. NOW hardly for me to experience constipation but sometimes im still experiencing it due to stress but for only 2-3 days.
