Day 5 and 4 lbs down!!!

Today is day 5 for me and I just couldn't take it any more I had to weigh myself this morning and i was so happy when i saw that i have already lost 4lbs!!! This diet really does work and it isn't hard at all!! I really can live without bread and sweets!!! ha ha Yeah for South Beach!!!

Way to go !!! I'm on day 6 and lost 3 1/2 lbs!! Isn't this great?!! It amazes me how easy it was to give up the bread in my recipes. Now the cravings have been brutal, but finally getting easier.

Do you feel like you have more energy ?? I do, I wake up w/o needed to hit the snooze button for an hour!! :)

We must be on the same wavelength!!! Today is also Day 5 for me, and I also couldn't resist the temptation of the scale. I just felt "thinner" and was excited to see if any weight was lost. To my amazement, I also have lost 4 pounds. I couldn't believe it!

I, too, can't believe how I have managed to stay away from the breads and sweets (my downfall!) This does get easier with each passing day. So CONGRATULATIONS to you and let's both keep up the great work! It sure does pay off!!

Lori, i do have more energy! And I just feel better, I just can't wait to see the pounds just melt off. And i can't believe how much i'm NOT hungry any more, I used to be hungry 24/7 now 3 meals and 2 snacks is more than engough!! its so awsome and my cravings are pretty much gone, i didn't realize they would be this easy to give up... so i'm smiling today and its FRIDAY too!! woo hoo :)

I'm on Day 5 - Day 6 technically, but I had a bad cheating day Wednesday - and I'm down 3 lbs. I've also started new workout classes, so I'm sure that's helping to offset some of my indiscretions. *blush* Doing okay on carb cravings - I actually went to McD's with DH and watched him eat without wanting any!


I also slipped up on a couple of things I wasn't aware of - the regular cheese vs reduced fat cheese thing & regular PB instead of natural. Buying some of that this weekend, so next week should be much better.
