I appologize for "calling you out" in the forum, but I was afraid you wouldn't check your original post again. I'm very interested in the book you were talking about "french toast for breakfast". Are you enjoying it? I went to amazon.com to get a review on it, but I could only find 3 (well, 5, but 2 of them were in spanish) and thought I would just ask you since you mentioned it. Like I stated before, I'm a terrible emotional eater too, and am always interested in finding ways to combat that. Any thoughts you could share would be greatly appreciated!

Candace

PS- thank you for sharing your struggles. Sometimes I feel as if I'm the only person knows what kind of a bondage emotional eating is. And its such a relief to read or hear of someone else who is struggling with the same thing, to know that its not just me, and to possible help each other.

hi candace! no problem at all--i've tried reading quite a few books dealing with emotional eating, and "french toast for breakfast" has been my favorite so far--for me the book just seemed to address a lot of issues that were right on for me, and there are some questions at the end of each chapter that helps you think more about and work through some of your issues behind emotional eating. there's another one called "Intuitive eating" that might also be helpful for you!

it's also een really helpful for me to hear your story and to know that i'm not alone with emotional eating too. if you want to be "buddies" and email each other for support, let me know! i think you can email me from my profile directly, too.
