Flavored water question

Hi!

I am very new to this as I will be starting SB tomorrow. Over the last year or so for health and weight loss purposes I have tried to add more water to my diet. I have become very addicted to Propel - it's touted as a vitamin enhanced water beverage. The breakdown is this: 10 calories, 3g carbs, and 2g sugars. Would this be okay for Phase 1 (or any Phase for that matter)? I couldn't find it in the good carb/bad carbs list. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am a carb addict and I hope this will be a turning point for me!

Thanks

Propel contains fructose - which is a sugar. I used to drink it all the time, but gave it up when I started SBD. Now I drink Fruit-2-O. It has the same fruity flavor as Propel, but it is sweetened with Splenda. If you are concerned about vitamins, don't worry - SBD encourages a wide array of foods chock full of vitamins. The best way to get vitamins is in natural, whole foods. But, if you are still concerned you are not getting enough, a daily multi-vitamin will provide everything you need.

Susan,

Thanks for your help. atlantagirl gave me another idea, but I thought I would give you the ingredients for analysis anyway. I have at least 10 of these in my fridge and they will be hard to ignore! Here is what is listed on the label: water, sucrose syrup, citric acid, natural kiwi and strawberry flavors and other natural flavors, sodium citrate, potassium citrate, sucralose, vitamin c, vitamin e acetate, and a bunch of different vitamin b's.

By the way, your stats are great! Did you lose all that weight on SB? I am starting at about 180, and I would be thrilled to get to 145. Anything lower than that is very hard for me to maintain. I am definitely a bad carb eater, but I am hoping I can lose those cravings!

Thanks again,

Julie

I thought it said in the book not to drink milk during Phase I?

Hi Suzy,

It sounds like you need the updated Phase 1 food list.
