I started Phase I eight days ago. I've only lost 1 pound. I exercise 3 days a week and do not think I am inputting that many calories.

Anyone else with the same experience? I feel like this is not going to work for me. Please let me know that other people experienced the same thing....

Rachel, I have to be brief here (ds is almost late for preschool) - - but wanted to let you know that I lost 3 inches this month (3 inches the last time I measured too).

I am in the same boat. I've stayed on Ph 1 for 3 weeks and only lost 2 lbs. I adhered to the foods as far as what you can and can't eat, but didn't exactly follow the meal plan (ie. For lunch, I would eat turkey slices or something SB legal, but didn't necessarily eat my 2 cups of veggies with lunch). I also walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes 4-5 times/week. I'm only trying to lose 5-10 lbs (I'm 5'6, started at 130 lbs) so that may be why, but I've seen several people who appear to have little weight to lose and doing much better than me. Long story short, I'm sticking to phase 1 for another week and trying to adhere closer to the menus to see if that works. Is your situation similar to mine?

Tracy, eat more veggies, but you might want to move onto phase-2.

I'm in the same boat as you, Tracy! I'm on Day 7 of P1, and I think I'm down 2lbs...I really just wanted to lose carb cravings & eat more healthily. I started at 5'7" and 126lbs, so I'm at 124 now. Already a little below the weight range for my height, but I carry it all in my hips and thighs - so I exercise and keep a little on the low side to look more balanced. I don't want to go below 120lbs, so I'm monitoring that.

Still having the cravings - although not as bad - so I'm keeping on with P1. I have trouble getting my veggies in, too - I have a lot of veggie/fruit allergies, so that makes it tough.

Don't worry, you're not alone!

I have been doing SBD for 5 weeks and have only lost 6 pounds and am very frustrated. I know that everyone loses weight at a different pace but it seems like everyone is having more success than I am. I have not cheated until today..out of frustration, I had a huge plate of spaghetti and 2 packs of chocolate rolos...

Hi Rachel, I started the SBD one month ago exactly. I've had my ups and downs, but I really love the energy I have now and the overall good feeling that I am doing something good for my body. I was on phase 1 for three weeks and although it wasnt easy for the first 5 days, I stuck to it. I never weighed myself when I started,( i didnt like the scale when i was 140, and i dont think id like it anymore since i became a size 18.) I dont know how much weight I have lost, I am just going by how my clothes fit. My husband says it looks like I have lost around 20 to 25, im not really sure, but i know i feel the difference. I have waaaay more energy, and im not tired all the time.

Dont quit, give it time, and dont be too fixated on the scale, youll find it less frustrating.
