Susan -

Thank you so much for sharing your roasted chick pea recipe - they are amazing! I love chick peas, and I had been meaning to make them, so last night I had some free time and did them and I was totally amazed - I ate them all! My husband came in from cutting the grass and asked what smelled so good and I pretended not to know what he was talking about since I didn't have any left to share with him :} Just wanted to express how good I thought they were and I will definately be making them again (was it a P1 no-no that I ate them all in one sitting?)

I think the recommended serving size is 1/2 cup.

Very true - my mom is on SB (I converted her and she loves it) and she is a potato chip junkie, so I can't wait to make these for her so she can have a yummy snack instead of drooling over every potato chip commercial she sees!

I know that this probably sounds dumb, but I just fixed these and was wondering like how hard they are supposed to be,I took them out because they smelled and looked like they were burning,it was about 25 min.,but they didnt taste very good and were really hard..I was thinking that I did them wrong..thanks for any reply..

I wasn't sure either how they were supposed to turn out, so I took them out after 20 minutes. They were crunchy on the outside but moist on the inside and almost had the consistency of french fries. I made them again today and left them in for 25 min. and they got really crunchy, but I like how I made them before - a little mushy.
