How important are snacks on South Beach? I am on day 5 and have not had snacks yet, havent been hungry for them. Will I loose more weight if I do have snacks?

You should start having your snacks. The idea behind the snacks is so your metabolism is constantly going. I know it may seem a little difficult going from usually not eating snacks to this WOE where snacks are key but just prepare some things ahead of time or keep your fridge full of SBD snacks. A few of my favorites are string cheese and fresh broccoli w./ ranch dressing :) I had to stop w./ the nuts since they stalled my weight loss.

Thank you for your reply. I will try to have a snack this afternoon to begin things. I have one question...Why did the nuts stall your weightloss?
