Buca di Beppo......help!

Well, I'm finally home from a business trip, it was the 3rd in 3 weeks...and I've almost completed 4 weeks of the SB WOL. I stayed on P1 for 2 weeks and went to P2 starting the 3rd week. I'm really not sure how much weight I've lost. I didn't weigh when I started. But everyone has asked what I'm doing (to lose) and my pants are looser! I do not want to get caught up on numbers. I've been reading a lot of threads tonight and it seems that when you watch for the scale to tell you it's working..... it's easy to get discouraged when you don't see the results you want! So, I'm going only on how I feel and how lose my pants are getting and how I'm not craving sweets!
I did cheat this week... I went to St Louis and was given tickets to the SL vs. Atlanta ballgame. Well...I couldn't go and not have a hot dog! So, I did.....and it was wonderful....I thought it would have sent me into major cravings, but I had been good all day so it didn't do anything. But I'm going back to P1 for a couple of days just to be on the save side. Plus, I'll have another business trip coming up next week and I'm still having a little struggle with one of the business dinners I'll be attending...it's an Italian place that serves family style and I have no control over what is ordered. Has anyone ever been to Buca di Beppo? If so, any suggestions as to what I could eat that would not be blowing it completely?

Wow you are really doing well!
Susan :)
Get the salad with vinagrette. Or antipasti with meats, veggie, cheese. Then have one of the meat dishes - maybe chicken cacciatore or chicken with lemon (probably better to have less sauce). Then get a side of green beans or escarole.
You are in south beach heaven!!
Go to their web site and make your decision now so that you have a plan in place and wont impulse order.
Good luck to you!!
Lisa.
My brother's rehearsal dinner before his wedding a few weeks ago was at Buca di Beppo, and I ate salad (I did indulge in one piece of buttery garlic bread-- while the butter's not good for you, I rationalized that the fat in it would slow down digestion the bread). I focused on the chicken (pulled off any breading) and the tomato pie (thin-crust), which I didn't have too much of. The desserts looked awesome, so I literally had one bite of two or three different desserts. They were really good, but since SBD I've been oversensitive to a lot of sugar, so they tasted a bit too sweet for me, if you can believe that!
Ok, I hope that helps!
