Phase I Saturday....a wee bit late

Sorry I'm late today. I had to take my mom out this morning to help her find shoes, and then I got my first bone scan (since my mom was diagnosed with severe osteoporosis after breaking her hip in January, and her wrist in February, and a vertabrae in her back in April....poor thing!) I am 41 and they told me it was good to get a baseline scan done. It turned out I am a little below average bone density, so I need to up my calcium and increase my weight bearing exercise.
I was bad last night since it was my mom's birthday, and ate a piece of cake (a lite yellow cake with strawberry filling). I am back on track now, though. I am happy I didn't use the cake as an excuse to binge...like I may have in the past. I just drank water and let that be that.
The TOM kept me up during the night....and I am still retaining water, but I do see a light at the end of the tunnel. I had no breakfast today (I was running too late...I will not make that mistake again). I had some salad & chicken for lunch. I will have a snack of SF Jello and maybe a mozz stick...I'm not real hungry though. Dinner I'm not sure yet. Last night was fish, so tonight maybe lean beef.
It rained some and is now sunny out. What is everyone doing for their weekend? We may see a movie...not sure yet. What is everyone doing for exercise. I need to commit to regular exercise and could use some buddy motivation. :-)

Woke up late today (doesn't that feel nice ;) ) and had some fat free cottage cheese with tomatos and cucumbers and now I'm enjoying a late lunch of salad, chunks of chicken and avocado with l.f. caeser dressing.
Weighed myself today and it looks like I lost 2 lbs :)
Went to the gym with my sis and boy are my legs dead! LOL Lunges and squats with weights, situps and cruches on the EBall and treadmill :) It really helps to have an excercise buddy!

well, I was good today too - or at least, mostly good.
had 2 softboiled eggs plus plain yogurt for BF, a protein shake for lunch, and a large salad of: lentils, tomatoes, tuna, lots of parsley for dinner. had handful of nuts (some almonds, some walnuts, some pistachios), plus before bed a bit of cheese (now!)...
well the bad part was the 2 glasses of wine I shared with a friend for her housewarming. but, at least if wasn^t an excuse to ingurgitate all the cookies and a whole bar of chocolate...
So you had some wine...but as you said, you didn't binge on chocolate....still a success in my book! On to Sunday. Hope I can sleep in for the first time all week! ;-)
