I didn't do too bad at Six Flags!

Some of you will remember my dilema on whether to start SB Monday when we were taking the youth group to Six Flags on Tuesday. I decided to start rather than put it off because we are also taking a family vacation next week to Hershey, PA, and I didn't want to put SB off until after that.

Well, Monday went by fine. I was pretty busy all day and had no trouble with meals and snacks. Yesterday for Six Flags I decided to pack my snacks and just do my best for meals. Breakfast was on the road at McD's, so I ordered 2 egg mcmuffins and threw out the muffins. So I had 2 eggs with 2 slices of canadian bacon and some cheese. The cheese wasn't low fat, but most of it stuck to the muffins anyhow. ;) Snacked on celery with laughing cow cheese around 11. Lunch at Six Flags (3ish) I got a Chicken Caesar Salad. We didn't eat dinner until after leaving the park, so it ended up being 9:30. I packed 2 snacks for the afternoon because I knew we'd eat late... part skim mozerella and 15 almonds. A friend also on SB brought a whole bag of almonds, and around 7:00, I ended up having a few of her almonds as well (about 10). We stopped at a rest stop on the NJ turnpike for dinner. Choices were Burger King or Sbarro. I really didn't want another salad, nor did I feel like having a greasy burger (they had a low-carb menu served without the bun). I was REALLY craving Italian, and I wanted pizza so bad! But instead of pizza I ordered chicken parmesan with mixed veggies on the side instead of spagetti. I scrapped the breading off the bottom half of the chicken, and left the top alone because I wanted the cheese. I ate a few of the carrots in the veggies before I remembered I wasn't supposed to have them, so I just finished the zucchini, squash and brocoli... all were nice and crisp and delicious! The chicken parm satisfied my Italian craving and I think was a good compromise over pizza. :)

I'm so please with how I did! I think I made it through the day without any of my usual sweet treat favs (funnel cake and a frozen treat of some sort) because I kept telling myself next week we'd be doing it all over at Hershey Park and I would let myself have a sweet treat there. :)

Amy 151/147.5/125 Yup! 3 1/2 lbs down in 2 days!!! All that walking at the park must have helped
