I've been browsing the board and lathough I know everyone's body reacts differnet;y I'm noticing my weight loss isn't quite what I'm seeing posted. I've lost only 2 lbs (I weighed in on Day 6) since I started.

My day's meals are usually

Breakfast

either egg/whites scrambled with veggies and coffee with sm + Equal or fat free cottage cheese + veggies+coffee

Lunch

Salad with tuna almost every day

Dinner

Salad with chicken or tuna

I JUST started snacking and usually have low fat Swiss cheese or nuts but usually the cheese. I've had dessert after dinner 2X (Sugar free jello)

I do tend to drink 1 or 2 decaf iced coffes with skim milk and Equal a day could that be hindering?

Hi. I just stared the diet Sunday afternoon. I'm doing pretty good. I have a lot of weight to lose. close to 150 lbs. I was really expecting a faster weight loss. I've only lost a couple pounds. I can't help but weigh myself morning and night. I'm not hungry and I'm excited that the cravings have somewhat diminished. I am having headaches, but I think it may be from my body cleansing itself. I do have a couple of coffees in the morning.

My clothes fit a little looser. Is it possible to be losing fat but the scale not really showing it? I don't want to get discouraged because by reading the book it seems that I will eventually lose weight. I feel weird eating so often because normally I don't eat breakfast or snacks. I think it may just take a little while for my body to adjust to my new eating habbits. What do you think?

Thanks for the encouragement and good tips :)

I just weighed myself and found as of now I'm down 5 lbs :)

Guess I'll have to make sure I don't weigh myself too often so I don't get discouraged. :)
