Yippee! We've made it to Friday! I'm feeling a bit better today...enough to be at work. It's good knowing the weekend is ahead.

How are you all doing today? Any fun plans for the weekend? Any challenges?

I've had just my yogurt for breakfast since my appetite isn't normal yet (due to the virus I'm fighting). I have my mozz stick for a snack this morning, and chicken & zuccini for lunch.

I will check back when I get a chance. I have to work until 4pm.

Have a fabulous Friday!

Suzy

Hi Lorraine!

Food choices are looking good (and delicious). We have some things in common (looking at your profile). I like Spike & the Buffy/Angel shows, too. (Have all the DVDs). I also like the small animals board since I have 3 chinchillas. :-) What pets do you have?

I am having my lunch of chicken & veggies now. I will likely have lean beef or fish tonight with a salad. Probably a ricotta cream for dessert. (yum!)

It's so sunny & warm here in Nebraska today. I'm about to fall asleep it's so stuffy here in the office at the college...LOL

Have a fun weekend with your sister!

Maryann, are you following phase-1 or doing your own thing (you know how you experiments with things)?

Susan :)

Thanks Susan! I had wondered about those two items also, but since I was at work I didn't have an opportunity to look them up. Thanks for the help. :-)

Made through day 5. Today was my biggest challenge. Went to the movies and ate pistachios and diet pepsi instead of the movie popcorn I love so much. Also, went grocery shopping and the baked goods were everywhere. Ended up having a little extra protein at dinner because I was hungry.

b: 2 eggs/3 slices louis rich bacon

s: l/f sting cheese

l: spinich leaves with cut up chicken breast (3oz) w/ newman's own olive oil and vinnegar dressing.

s: pistachios

d: small fish fillet, stir fry veggies with cut up top round steak, romain salad with veggies and dressing.

s: s/f popsicle

cheers!

You did it Tricia! I'm so glad you made it through the movie without the popcorn. (It won't be long and you will be able to have some again). How was the movie itself? I will probably see one sometime this weekend. Not sure which one yet.

I know what you mean about all the baked goods at the grocery store. I try hard to avoid those aisles as best I can. You did fine with your meals...and it is ok to eat a bit more protein or veggies when you're hungry.

Have a fabulous Saturday!!!

Suzy :-)
