talk to me in brands ;)

I'll admit it. I'm lazy and always looking for a shortcut when it comes to preparing foods. So far, I've gathered that Cardini's ceasar salad dressing and Smuckers peanut butter are good choices.(Both are brands that I've purchased before) Hummus is another favorite of mine, (I'm assuming that any brand is fine) Any other name brand items that I can look for to have on hand as shortcuts for those days that I don't feel like thinking? Any food items you can think of will help! Need help with the grocery shopping :)

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Newman's products are usually a good choice.

Emerill Lemon and Pepper sauce is great to put on baked chicken breasts. A favorite of mine.

My suggestion is Louis Rich turkey bacon. It's the best! (Butterball is good, too)

And I'd like to add Cabot reduced fat cheddar.

I also like any brand of baby spinach, buy it in the bag pre-washed, and you can just throw it into your omelettes, salads, or sautee in olive oil & add sour cream for instant creamed spinach. Big time saver.

Polly-O makes the best ricotta and best cheese sticks, I think.

I also like buying low fat mozzarella already shredded --keeps in the freezer.

Thank you ladies. I've got my pen and pad handy. I still can't get over the stuff you can eat on the SBD!

I like the Dannon Light and Fit yogurts (only plain & vanilla for phase-1, and stay clear of the low carb one - it's NOT SBD-friendly).
