I've been away from this chat for about a year but am back on the Beach for a week now. I've
been off and on the plan during a few family crises and recently put a few lbs. back on.

My question: I'm sure this has been discussed so please forgive me- I have recently noticed the Carbwell products have disappeared from my stores here in AZ...I used the salad dressings and catsup...which were very good IMO. Any official word that these products have been discontinued?

Also can't find Carb Options snack bars- small bars (like Choc. Peanut Caramel) covered in chocolate and using Skippy peanut butter. I checked their website but found nothing. They were distributed by Unilever.

A BIG thanks to whoever mentioned the sugar free pickles last week! I had no idea they existed and found some at Safeway the other day. Thanks so much!

After one week back on the Beach I have to say I feel fabulous!

Hi Cos,

Welcome back to the beach. Over the years I have found that some of my favorite products come and go in my grocery stores - and some have disappeared for good. I can no longer find most of the CarbWell products (LOL my DH works for Unilever, I should ask him to check into it). Another reason you may not find a product you once did is due to regional distribution and changes in marketing strategies.

We have found that there are LOTS of SB friendly choices, so if there is a particular product-type you are looking for, let us know. Chances are we have found a suitable alternative!!

I used to like the Carbwell BBQ sauce but now can no longer find it (I am in CA). Discouraging.

I think they must have pulled them when the whole "low carb" craze ended.

There are still diabetics in the world so you would think that there would be a place for them!!!

Thanks for the replies. I am mostly distressed about losing the Carbwell salad dressings- we used them pretty much on a daily basis and they were very good. I feared this might happen when the no-carb trend cooled off. Oh well...that's what comes from living in trend crazy America. LOL Too bad because these were good products geared for a diet that really works for me. Back to reading labels...Cos

There are LOTS of bottled SB-friendly salad dressings to choose from. The only requirement is that they contain no more than 3 grams of sugar per serving.
