I am really disappointed in myself. I am on phase one. Started on tuesday and have done very well and did not give in into my cravings until today. It is all because of some guy i like. He invited me out for drinks and at first I declined and told him why, but eventually he convinced me. Anyway, after work he took me out. I had two glasses of red wine ( I know that is not bad, but on phases 1, not allowed). I had a one crab cake with this awesome sweet sauce (must of had sugar in it). I had half a chocolate cake for desert; and yes I dipped in the bread basket. Do I need to start phase one over again. I only need to lose 6 lbs. Do I need to start over or just continue where I left off, since I have 10 days left. I'd hate to start over because this phase is killing me. I can't believe I gave in today.
what should I do?

Good luck. I am so excited about being back on phase one because I know it brings freedom.
Hi! J1osie is right! Don't beat yourself up - it happens. Just get back on track tomorrow and start where you left off. Drink lots of water and put it behind you.
I'd hate to start over because this phase is killing me.
Hi,
You've gotten all great advice.
Ah, the things we do for love!
Good luck on both endeavors!
I have a question for you: When you say 'this phase is killing me', do you mean that it is difficult for you to stick with, because you are craving forbidden foods..? If that's the case, in my opinion I would NOT shorten Phase I -- that's what it's *for*, to eliminate cravings. If you continue to have killer cravings while on Phase I, take a closer look at what you are eating, and see if you are accidentally getting "secret sugars" in things you don't think have them. We have to basically go "cold turkey" on the sugar in Phase I, or the craving for it WON'T go away, ever. A lot of low-fat and "fat-free" (including flavored yogurts, etc.) foods have added sugars. You might find out that you've been accidentally getting more than you thought. This happened to me once, so I can sympathize!! :) You might try keeping a food diary, if you're not doing that already. Put down every single thing you eat or drink, and then post it for one of the CLs to review for hidden sugars, etc., and other pitfalls that might be making your Phase I so difficult.
Just my two cents. ;)
Good luck!
