GAINING weight!

Why does my body ALWAYS need to act in the most opposite manner of everything!? I have been doing phase one for days now and have only had a few minor mishaps (Dannon Light and fit flavored yogurt) and have gained 2 pounds!
Grrrrrr.... I KNEW I was eating too much dang food!

I ALWAYS swell, but it is usually better in the morning (when I weigh myself).
(((Hugs))) I can imagine how frustrating it was to see the scale go up.
Here are some suggestions because I too have felt in the past that I was just eating too much. When I felt that way I would re-examine my food journal and that is when I realized I actually wasn't eating *enough*, of the right foods that is. ;o) Double check and make sure you are getting in 4 1/2 cups of veggies. This is MINIMUM. Also make sure you get in your 2 cups of dairy. These will both help fill you up a lot so that you don't overeat on the meats and cheeses. I don't limit the amount of meat and cheese I eat but when I make sure I get that other stuff in I eat a lot less in any case.
Also, make sure that you are eating lean cuts of meat and cheese that has 6g of fat or less and also remember to limit your portions of "fats" and your sweet treats.
