Can anyone provide snack ideas for phase 1. I know I am suppossed to have two snacks a day and was doing good, but now I'm am extremely bored and am forcing myself to eat my snacks and I'm not even enjoying. Sometimes I catch myself skipping.

Snacks I've had have been Turkey wraps, Tomatoes, cheese and green pepper on a stick, Nuts and cucumbers, mozarella cheese sticks and ham slices. I'm so over it. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Here's a whole thread filled with snack ideas:

Also, if you're craving salt, as I almost always do - here's a thread filled with salty snack ideas:

Remember, you can have anything on the phase 1 foods to enjoy list as a snack.

Thanks Cathy,

You are always so helpful. I took a lot of great ideas from those posts. One more question and I hope it is not silly. The sweet snack ideas should be saved as dessert right? I know we are allowed two snacks a day and one dessert in the evening. There were awesome snacks such as the peanut butter cups and the Cottage cheese mixxed with pecans and vanilla. Would these be save as daytime snacks or best reserved for dessert?

With sweet treats, you can eat them any time of the day you like, with a meal or as a separate snack.

I know we don't make it a habit to count calories on the SBD, but we do for sweet treats. So are we counting fat calories or total calories. I think I just messed up.

I think you got your answer about the ice cream above.
