Hi and welcome!

Fat-free, sugar-free pudding is a phase 2 food. Egg salad is great for all phases (I love lots of celery in mine!)

How long ago did you leave the beach? Will you

These are phase 1 "sweet treats":

SWEET TREATS (Limit to 75-100 calories per day)
Sweet treats are items that contain sugar alcohols, such as:

Candies, hard, sugar-free

Chocolate powder, no-added-sugar

Cocoa powder, baking type

Fudgsicles, no sugar added

Gelatin, sugar-free

Gum, sugar-free

Jams and jellies, sugar-free

Popsicles, sugar-free

Syrups, sugar-free

Some Sugar Free Products may be made with sugar alcohols (isomalt, lactitol, mannitol, sorbitol or xylitol) and are permitted on the SBD. They may have associated side effects of GI distress (abdominal pain, diarrhea & gas) if consumed in excessive amounts.

So you can have "no sugar added" Fudgsicles??? I kept looking for "Sugar Free" and didn't find any, but found several of the "no sugar added", but didn't buy them. I was dying to make the peanut-butter cups!

Since fudgesicles are made from dairy and dairy contains natural sugars (lactose) there is technically no such thing as sugar-free fudgesicles.

Here's the recipe:

South Beach 'Peanut Butter Cup'
Serves 1

Ingredients:
1 no-sugar-added Fudgesicle
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon fat-free frozen whipped topping or whipping cream

Instructions"
Take a no-sugar-added Fudgesicle and scrape it off the stick (microwaving it for about 15 seconds helps). Then add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and 1 tablespoon of fat-free frozen whipped topping or whipping cream. Mix together and enjoy.

Count the 1 tablespoon of peanut butter as half of your total nuts allowed for the day. (If you use two tablespoons of peanut butter, count that as your total nut allowance for the day.) Count the whipped topping and fudgesicle towards your Sweet Treats for the day.
