Maybe I'm snacking on too many almonds or something. I'm following the diet and being good but my weight seems to be hovering in the same vicinity.

I want to lose 30 pounds and can't seem to get out of the 150 range into the 140's.

I'm on the second week of Phase I. Should I go another week on Phase I and cut back on nuts and see if that helps?

Hi Maggie - thanks for your feedback!!

Y'know, I was thinking the same thing about the sodium (salt) intake as I posted my note here - lotsa' salty stuff in there that could cause me to retain water. (Though, I think I got the low-sodium V8.)

The fudgsicles are only 40 calories each, so if I splurge on two of them (which I have done on occasion), it's only 80 calories.

So, that's 100 calories allowable sweets per day or per snack? It must be for the day.

I would love to snack on carrots but that isn't allowed in Phase I. I stocked up on carrots but will have to wait.

"Here are some others, which are all good for Phase 1: broccoli florets, slices of cucumber, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper slices, radishes, and snow peas."

My problem is that I'm picky about veggies and don't really like the things you listed eaten raw. Maybe I'd like the snow peas ...

That's why I'm relying a lot on V8 for this phase. ;)
