I'm having some trouble with sweet snacks. I eat sugar-free jello and peanut butter, but I am not a fat of the ricotta desserts (no matter how they are doctored up) and I don't like chocolate (so the fudgecicles and cocoa poweder arre out). Do you have any other suggestions for sweet treats because I can only do jello and peanut butter for so long....

thanks!

Have you tried the Mock French Toast recipe? It's topped with SF maple syrup and is really yummy comfort food to me.

Maybe chewing some SF gum would help some times??

Don't know -- I'm a fudgsicle fan... ;-)

Moe,

How about sugar-free popsicles.

I know this may not be different what about jello and cool whip. I also like cool whip with vanilla extract. Yummy. Also you can add nuts to cool whip. I get desperate - can you tell.

Just be sure to limit the Cool Whip to 2 tablespoons per day.

I'm not sure if you're on phase 1 or phase 2...but I love to make Cheesecake Yogurt. You mix a package of sugar free cheesecake pudding mix into a tub of plain non fat yogurt. I use a mix master so it combines well. I scoop it out into one cup servings (this is a good way to incorporate one cup of dairy) then I stir in 12 frozen cherries (this knocks out a fruit serving). It's filling and very satisfying. I also like to make butterscotch pudding and measure that out into 1/2 cup servings. I stir in 1-2 tablespoons of fat-free cool whip which turns it into "mousse".

My aunt make jello mousse by following the same instructions. You take a portion of jello and whip in 2 T. of cool whip. She gets a better consistency using a wire whip by hand. I use the whip attachment on my kitchenaid. Once it is all combined (the jello will turn a pretty pastel color) you put it back in the refrigerator to congeal.

You can also try Karen's chocolate chip oatmeal and her peanut butter cookies. Good luck and stick with it. =)

thanks for the suggestions. I think the popsicles might be my best bet (I'm not a cool whip fan either). I will also look into the mock french toast since I LOVE real french toast.

thanks again
