Today is day 7 of Phase 1 for me. I weighed myself for the first time since the day I started and i've only lost 5 pounds... I wanted to blame it on my new scale, but I all week i've been saying that I didn't feel or look like i'd dropped much weight. COnsidering that I started at 250 pounds and I have been following Pahse 1 without cheating, I expected to lost more weight than that (I lost almost 11 pounds in one week a year ago when I did Phase 1). I keep reading posts of people that are losing 7-13 pounds their first week. What am I doing or not doing? What can I do for week two that might help? I want to stay motivated, but it's hard when things seem to be going slowly...

Yeah, these last weeks have been strange. I lost the 5 and then put it right back on. I think the regain was due to that TOM. So, now that TOM is over and this is the end of week 2 (Phase 1) and I re-lost the 5. I kind of expected to lose more than 5 pounds in 2 weeks on Phase 1, but i'm goin gto stick with it and see what one more week brings.
I am going to watch my portions (sometimes I forget that just because i'm eating healthy doesn't mean I can eat as much as I want). And, i'm going to eat more veggies (I'm a meat and potatoes girl. So, i've been eating more meat than veggies). I also need to find a way to get some exercise in. I don't do any exercise other than walking about 4 or 5 blocks to and from work (from the bus stop).
