My dh is going crazy with the lack of variety in phase 1 esp. with breakfasts. Anyone have ideas on what he could eat besides eggs and canadian bacon? He works so it either has to be super fast to fix or something i can make and put in fridge or freeze for him to heat up that morning.

Also, i am thinking ahead to phase 2 cuz we get to start that next monday. How are the Kashi foods? I mean i know they taste good but are they good for the SBD?

Oh and i HATE milk but found "no sugar added" carnation instant breakfast. Can i use that? I tried the recipe for hot chocolate and chocolate milk but it is GROSS to me and too hard for me to just whip up. I dont intend on using it for breakfasts really but could i use it for the afternoon? i am going to try the sugar-free jello powder suggestion in yougurt as well, just not a huge yogurt fan either.

Also, looking ahead for lifestyle change: i have been using the quick and easy cookbook and at first i loved it because the first few things i made were really quick and easy but i have quickly become tired of cooking so much (i dont like to cook anyway) and it seems everything i try now doesnt workout too well. I feel like i am spending waaaaaay too much time on planning, grocery shopping and cooking. I feel like my world revolves around food right now. I dont want my lifestyle change to be that i spend this much time planning and preparing for meals. Are there some good convience foods that i could use? any great shortcuts?

I wish i could just hire a cook to come in and make everything for me...lol (my little fantasy world).

You might want to try the chocolate and/or the cappuccino Soy Slender. It counts towards your dairy and is only 70 calories per cup. I think it's yummy!
