morning all, just wanted to say that this is day 10 for me on phase 1, i am really enjoying it although i am getting bored of eating chicken breast for dinner every day. i was wondering why arent we allowed to eat dark meat,like thighs on this phase. also i will be moving to phase 2 next monday, but wanted to know if i can stay on phase 1 for one week longer and also need the list of foods to eat on phase 2. thank you. gordita

I hope I can answer your questions.

1. There is too much fat in dark meat chicken.
2. They REALLY recommend NOT doing more than 2 weeks on Phase I. If you are over your cravings then move on. Phase I is about banishing cravings not losing weight. You loose your weight in Phase 2.
3. Just go down to the Phase 2 topic and you will find the "getting started" thread which has the food lists.

Congratulations! I have been using the kraft website. The recipes are easy and give variety. The website is http://kraftfoods.com/South_Beach_Diet/. Also, there are coupons available. I use the recipes on the message board too. I don't have a lot of time to be in the kitchen.
