How much dairy/cheese are you allowed?

I was wondering how much dairy and cheese you are allowed to eat per day in Phase 1? I usually drink 1c of 1% milk/day, 1-2 fat-free plain yogurts and 1-2 mozzarella sticks. Is this too much dairy?
I really enjoy the fat-free yogurts with Splenda as a dessert or snack. ;)

Hi. Technically, proteins are not limited on SBD, but since cheese are calorie dense, it's best to watch your intake.
It's recommended that you get 2 cups of dairy while on phase 1. Dairy is skim or 1% milk, plain fat-free yogurt and low fat soy milk. Cheese is considered a protein - NOT dairy.

Then choose lean beef or poultry. In Phase 1 of the diet, you can eat as many proteins and vegetables as you like, plus fats like olive oil. Fruit and starches aren't allowed until Phase 2. Here's a look at some general eating guidelines. For specific food choices, check out the Phase 1 food list.
