Need snack ideas

Hi there,

I am starting the beach again. I was on the diet 2 years ago and lost 50 pounds but after a broken knee and a baby I have gained 30 pounds of it back...... So here I am back on the beach. My problem is that I am home most of the time and i feel the need to snack so I was wondering if anyone had some ideas of healthy snacks. I am getting sick of the veggies and would love to have something else.

Hi and welcome back!


Veggies dipped in salad dressing, aloutte light and hummus are my favorites. If you want some non-veggie ideas, try: turkey rollups, other deli meats, cheese, olives, nuts, soup.


It's suggested that we get protein and veggies in our snacks to keep us satisfied and to help us reach the 4.5 cup minimum daily veggie requirement.
