Hello everyone!
After lurking around this board for a while, I've decided to make the commitment to this WOE and lifestyle.
I just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself.
My name is Claudia and I am 21 years old. I am in my last year of college, and am a little overweight. I live in my own apartment off campus, which helps so much... I found it really hard to eat well when I lived in a dorm.
I loooove this board and the support that everyone gets from it and I look forward to getting to know all of you.
I started P1 on Monday and so far I have been doing well. I've had a few problems, I ate too much cheese one day and I had a little 2% milk in my coffee, which I shouldn't have had, but they didn't have skim. Overall though, I've felt a little weak but besides that not too bad. No cravings, although I have to say the sf fudgesicles save me every night!
I used to do weight watchers, but have found that its not really for me. The points allotment just made me starve myself all day and then eat like crazy at night. South Beach seems like a much better solution for me. I'm really excited. Because of my WW background, I weigh in on thursday mornings (just out of habbit now)... so my starting weight is as of today and not monday, but thats OK!
I'm a little nervous, I'm not really sure what to expect (results-wise), I don't need to lose too too much (~20 pounds) so I'm trying to prepare myself for slow results, but I tend to get frustrated so like I said before... I'm nervous.

Height- 5'2"
Weight- 141.6
