I did really bad this weekend which is always my downfall. I had lost 3lbs by Friday of last week and this morning when I got on the scale I was back up to my start weight when I 1st started. Anyhoo I think I will start over or just go into Phase 2 any advice needed. Like this morning I will be having the Special K cereal that is carb control w/ protein w/ 1% milk and greentea. The other problem is planning I sometime will do good w/ planning but w/ 5 kids things always get into the way I have to try and keep going. Thanks for the support
See ya

Mo,
There's no need to start over again. Phase 1 is not a punishment that you have to return to each time you eat something you shouldn't. If you have cravings you cannot control, continue with phase 1 until the 14 days are over. If your cravings are okay, but you feel you will be more in control and satisfied by the addition of fruits and grains in phase 2, then you should move on.
Here is some info (for now or later) on starting phase 2: Starting Phase 2 -- Two Ways

Also, planning is the key to success. You need to have the right foods on hand. If you don't you are putting yourself at rish for cheating. With 5 children, I would think that meal planning would not only help your diet efforts, but help reduce the burden of 'what to cook' every night. I plan my meals for at least one week at a time. Then I grocery shop for enough of the ingredients I need for a few nights dinners, as well as some SBD-friendly breakfast, lunch and snack foods. To do my mealplanning, I go thru cookbooks, magazines, websites and this board for recipes and make my shopping list accordingly. I keep a folder in the kitchen that has my mealplan and current week's recipes clipped to the front. Inside I keep any recipes that were 'keepers' as well as the previous weeks' mealplans.
Try it for a few weeks and see if it becomes any easier for you. As usual, we are here with plenty of tips and recipes if you need anything.
