So I went to the store last night and bought peanut butter. All I could find was reduced fat and now looking at the ingredients I am not sure if I can have it.
Facts: 2 Tbsp serving size
190 calories
Fat Cal 100
Total Fat 11g
Sat. Fat 2g
Trans fat 0g
sodium 160mg
sugars 5g
Ingredients:peanuts, corn syrup soldis (what are these) soy protein, sugar, partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, slat, minerals and vitamins.
If I can have this I am going to take it back. What is a type I can have?
Kelly

This is not acceptable on SBD.
This one is not a good choice, because of the corn syrup and other added ingredients. Try to find a "natural" peanut butter--one that only lists peanuts and salt in the ingredients. I usually buy Smucker's Natural. Make sure you check the ingredients, though, because even some that say "natural" have added sugars--I know Skippy Natural does, at least. The Smucker's is really good, and even my kids have gotten used to it.
