Hi all. I'm not new to SBD or to this board. I've tried and failed many times, and hear I am again. I have a clear goal this time. I want to have another baby and I need to lose 50 lbs before I can do so.

I'm wondering if you all can give me some meal plan suggestions. Mostly lunch and snack. I'm ok with dinner and b'fast. I dont mind eggs all the time and dinners I cook pretty healthy anyway. I dont really like most of what's on the SBD site. I dont think I'm picky, but maybe I am. Are you all eating salad for lunch every day? I'd love to hear your fav's. I'm sure this will benefit other newbies too.

Thanks! Norma :O)

Hi Norma and welcome! The best way to get ideas for meals, I've found, is to just take a peek at people's food journals in the iJournal section below. Everyone has different ideas about what "tastes good" to them, so read several posts from several different people. Most people post what Phase they're in, too, so pay attention to that. Good luck and hope to see you post other questions, concerns, and most especially victories!

Hi Norma,

My DH and I most eat soups, stews, etc for lunch. It's easy to make a big pot and not have to worry about making lunch everyday. Sometimes I will get a side salad at the canteen at work to go with it. We eat a lot of chilli, beef stew, chicken soup with black beans and lots of veggies.

Thanks. Those ideas do all help a lot. I didn't even think to look in the journals becasue I dont journal (I know I should ,but I dont and I really dont think I ever will!).

Thanks again! I'm really hoping to be successful this time. I moved from NY to GA about 6 mos ago and when I go back to my home town to visit, I'd love to look good! And I dont want my daughter to be here in 20 years posting on this board hoping to lose weight.

Thanks girls. I look forward to getting to know you all. Norma :O)
