I would love to make this soup. Could someone please tell me how much chicken broth to use? Does it mean 2.5 cups or if it does indeed mean cans, what size?
TIA!!

Broccoli Cheese Soup
Serves 2
Ingredients
1 pound frozen winter style veggies (broccoli and cauliflower)
1 1/2 can low-sodium, low-fat chicken broth
1/2 10-ounce can of diced tomatoes or diced tomatoes with green chilies
5 ounces low-fat creamy cheese, such as Velveeta Light, cubed
Instructions
Place the veggies, tomatoes, and broth in a large pot. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 40 minutes. Add the cheese and let it melt as you stir it. Mash up veggies or leave them whole.

It is one and a half regular size cans of chicken broth -- I think it works out to be about 22 ounces or so. This soup is absolutely delicious!!!

Thanks!
I think I will make it without the tomatoes, though. I love broccoli cheese soup, but the thought of there being tomatoes in it turns me off a bit. I'd rather have it without. I hope it still works out ok.
Thanks for your help.
