hi! im brand new to the diet and i read the phase 1 new section, but i have to say im kind of overwhelmed now! lol!!  i need it to be simple in my head or i will fall off track easily.  any ideas. or help?  thanks so much!

Hi and welcome! We're glad to have you here!


I know it seems a bit overwhelming, but you'll be a pro at this WOE in no time.


Here are some of the more important aspects to help you get started:



  • Eat whenever you are hungy

  • Eat until satisfied, not full

  • Drink lots of water

  • Get 3 meals and 3 snacks daily on phase 1

  • Get a minimum of 4.5 cups of veggies per day

  • Get 1 - 2 cups of dairy per day (skim milk, plain, fat-free yogurt, unsweetened soy milk)

  • Print out the Foods to Enjoy list - choose anything from the list, use it when grocery shopping.
