Fully Cooked Bacon

Great info on this board! I've been able to get answers to tons of questions, except one.....is fully cooked/ready to serve bacon (not turkey) permissible in Phase 1? Oscare Mayer makes it, nutritional info is as follows:
Cal 70
Fat 5 (Sat 2, trans 0)
Carb 0
I've tried turkey bacon and it's not for me. Hoping this is okay as I am struggling with breakfast (don't like eggs).
Thanks in advance!

According to "the SBD Good Fats Good Carbs Guide" (which has become my bible in the kitchen!!) bacon is *NOT* allowed in P1 P2 or even P3.
Canadian bacon *IS* allowed in all phases however because it is a leaner cut of meat.
BTW...The turkey bacon is GROSS. I bought a package and we made some for breakfast this morning and nobody liked it. It went right into the trash because I know it isn't something I will even learn to tollerate.
I am pretty satisfied with the Canadian Bacon though, so you may wish to give it a try.
HTH!
Hi & welcome!
I also hated it the first time I tried Jennie-o but it also had to do how with how I was making it, I switched to Louis rich and started cooking it

We bought the Butterball brand and like it. I wasn't expecting it to taste just like bacon and it doesn't. I used it in the spaghetti squash breakfast casserole. It adds a nice bacon-y flavor to that recipe.
