I had grape nuts this morning for breakfast. This is my second day on phase 2. Did I mess up or can I keep on going from here?

You're okay! Cathy asked the SB nutritionist and here's the scoop on Grape Nuts:
Grape Nuts are allowed. However, the portion size is extremely small (just 1/4 cup) compared to other cereals, which is why it may not make a good breakfast cereal choice.
Cereals with 3.0 grams to 4.9 grams of fiber, per one-ounce serving, are considered "good" fiber choices. Those with 5.0 grams or more are considered "high" sources of fiber. I would recommend trying to find a cereal on the upper end of "good" and reaching toward "high". You will also want to find a cereal with no more than 8 grams of sugar per serving.
A one-ounce serving of Grape Nuts (1/4 cup) has 3.0 grams of fiber, so it fits into the lower end of the guidelines; the sugar content is 2.5 grams per serving.
Again, you may enjoy Grape Nuts but a serving size is so small, that you may wish to experiment with some of the other delicious high-fiber cereals on the market.
