Starting today my husband and I are dong SB. Also we leave for Jamaica at the end of March. So loosing a few lbs would be great. We did SB last spring and it worked great for both of us. I was happy to find a SB board. I will need some support,I am a raging carb freak! Speaking of...what's with the Triscuit ad on the top of the board?
I look forward to getting healthy and losing weight with all of you!

Hey Leigh Ann,
Good Luck..This is a great board to get encouragement and answers to all the questions you might have...I just had to write you...I LOVE JAMAICA...where are you going in Jamaicia...I have been 3 times...My husband and I got engaged there and returned last summer for a delayed honeymoon...I am hoping for a return trip this summer but we haven't decided yet...I can give you lots of tips and info on Jamaica...I hope you have an awesome time!

We are going to the Grand Lido resort in Negril. It is a work incentive trip and the wives actually get to go. We are so excited. I would love any tips. I've heard that it's 90* and don't bother doing your hair. I made it through SB for a whole day. YEAH!!
I'm starting to get cranky.

I'm SO jealous...The Grand Lido is right beside the resort that my husband and I stay at...Couples Negril...You will absolutly LOVE Jamaica...Don't worry about changing your money...You will be able to use American money...The Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee is the best, if you are a coffee drinker...you will want 3-4 swim suits because your suit will not dry in the humidity...You will stay in your suit most of the day and then change into something nice for dinner...take a sarong/cover up for your suit when you go to breakfast/lunch...pack light...I ALWAYS over pack but trying to get better :)
sunscreen...suncreen...suncreen...especially for the lips...and contantly reapply...take a hat...i didn't wear one all the time but came in handy when my face got a little too much sun and on the sunset catameran cruise...we constantly kept suscreen on and the day we got the most sun was a day when the sun never came out...we had sunscreen on but just didn't reapply as often...It rains every afternoon in Negril but only lasted 30-45 minutes at the most...we usually just stayed in the pool until it started to down pour and then we would have lunch...it usually rained about 1:30/2:00PM...then the sun would come back out...I would be happy to share some picture with you and answer any more question you might have about Jamaica...you can email me at misncoachstan@earthlink.net if you would like...
