PB Shake

1/3 c Part Skim Ricotta Cheese
1 T Natural Peanut Butter
2 T Splenda
1 t Vanilla Extract
3/4 c Skim Milk
5 Large Ice Cubes

Combine all ingredients in the blender and process until smooth.

OMG! This is the first sweet recipe I could honestly say I'd eat on or off the diet!

I'm so glad to see something sweet to eat besides ricotta creme. It's not that I don't like ricotta creme, but variety IS the spice of life. So....yeah, I'm going to try this. I'm on day 3 and my cravings are making themselves known. I have a headache, and my body wants something SWEET!!! LOL...

I just made this and I like it a lot. I didn't have any ricotta, so I used LF cottage cheese instead, but I think it came out well. I like cottage cheese because it has more protein and less carbs and fat than ricotta, but I am sure that the ricotta makes it a little richer and yummier. I also used less ice, so it's thicker.

Thanks for a great recipe! I think this would be great after a hard workout.

Hi,

I have tried this shake three times so far, and love it! It really is something I would eat whether I was on SB or not. I do think I might try the cottage cheese too...a little less fat would be good.

I'm thinking maybe I could figure out a recipe for a lemon ricotta shake too.....hmmm....have to think about that one.
