A weird thing.......

Last night I was putting lotion on and moved to my stomach. (Mind you I've had three children) It has always been my negative spot! Shocked at the loose skin I went to my husband crying that I was concerned. He changed my tears to happy ones.
He reminded me that I'm loosing fat from my stomach and my skin has not kept up!!!!
My question for you girls is how long does it take to catch up? I know I'll never look like I did before kids.
Thanks for your support,it's all worth it now!!!

After 2 c-sections, I personally am afraid my skin flap is here to stay. I try not to dwell on it too much. The kids were worth it, and I have other assets now (biceps, toned thighs, cheekbones) to distract DH from my tummy, LOL. :-) Just wanted to let you know you're not alone.
A lot depends on your genetics, how long you were overweight, how much you were overweight and how you carried your children.
Ditto what Mags said! I had 2 c-sections (17 and 13 years ago) and my tummy is pretty flat and toned. However, there is some loose skin there. The funny thing is that some days it's better then others...weird! But, like Mags, I tend not to dwell on it.
I have had 4 children and when I am heavy my belly is large, but as I lose weight it gets smaller...Slowly the 'tone' comes back to the tummy area. It doesn't all come back, but does not look as loose. Weight training with a good diet like SB really helps to get the shape back. It just takes a bit of time.
