SBD board newbie

Hello all,
I am new to this board (sooooo glad it's here, it FREE!!!!). But I actually first tried SBD in 2003. And as some have noted, there have been a lot of changes since then. It was HARD CORE back then. I did phase one for 11 days, lost 8 pounds. I loved the food, couldn't believe I was eating freshly prepared foods, olive oil, (fat free) cream made hot cocoa and losing weight like I was. This was in November. I remember going over a friend's for Thanksgiving and tried to drink a soda as that was all she had. It was disgusting! Tried to eat cake. Too sweet!
But I digressed by New Years. I've tried a couple of times to go back but it was too hard.
But in a couple of weeks I'm going back. I'm cira 185-187 at 5'3''. I carry it well pretty much because I have a bit of muscle mass as well.
From what I've read (and these are good things) more water is recommended, as well as suppliments. The thing I remember most is my skin was like crepe paper from the quick water loss.
And I see smoothies are on the menu. Yeah!!!!
Well I look forward to befriending you all and I am going to hang out here so I can learn all the changes, what I need to buy and I'll be keeping everyone up to date.
I am turning 35 this year and I want to give myself my great body and health back.

Welcome to the board. I see we have a lot in common. Im also 185 lbs 5ft 3 and have a good amount of muscle mass. I am also turning 35 this year. April to be exact. I just restarted SBD on Sunday. This diet is fabulous. I tend to stray but plan to stick to it this time. You will love the support here.

Hi and welcome! Your starting stats are almost exactly the same as mine were - I was 183 and 5'3", but I did NOT carry mine well LOL - I don't think any of it was muscle!

Hi, Yes I was amazed by your before and after pic! You barely even look the same in the face. I have a lot of bloat on my face and I've been overweight for a lot of my adult life. I can't wait to lose the bloat on my face and neck and see my adult cheekbones.
