Hi, everyone. It's good to be back. I'm just sorry I strayed so far from what worked so well for my health and fitness. Almost years ago, I started on the SBD. I followed the rules for 8 months and lost about 12 pounds. I felt better than I had ever felt in my entire life. No up and down cravings, and for the first time since I was 7, I was not self conscious about my body. I have always struggled with my weight. I'm 5' 6" and have topped out at 165 many years ago. At that time I did weight watchers to help keep me in check. That was fabulous for years, but after the birth of my second child, WW did not work anymore. I sought out the SBD lifestyle after talking to some people who had great sucess on it. After 8 months I was at 130-132 and very satisfied. It all went wrong following the sudden death of a friend in March 2005. I am one of those stress eaters and now realize that was and still is the one part of my diet I never worked on or changed. As you know, one stress usually leads to another. It's been a rough 2006 and I'm finally pulling out of it now. The worst part is that all of that comfort eating did nothing but rack up 20 pounds. I was 152 four weeks ago when I started and stopped and started and stopped the SBD. I'm very much in the mode now and have been on Phase I for 4 days. I figured I should post to keep my self accountable and see what others have learned about changing their tendency to stress-eat.
