Hey all,
I'm on week 2 of Phase 1 and I'm not seeing any results. I've been really good, I don't understand why. Maybe I'm going overboard with nuts? I live at college so snacking is kind of hard to manage, but I get really hungry between meals, and nuts are convenient. Could they be sabotaging me?
Also, could it be because I didn't have much to lose? I started at 148, 5'4", and I wasn't a huge carbohydrate eater (I drink diet beverages, use Splenda, limit sweets, try not to eat too many starchy foods)... could that cause this to be a little slower going?
I weighed myself over the weekend at home (I don't have access to a scale here), but it was at night and I had just eaten so I don't entirely trust what it said... but I either stayed the same weight or put on a couple pounds. My "tight" pants are definitely still tight, I was hoping to have them a bit looser by now! What am I doooing?!

Hi and welcome!
First you are right on a couple of counts. Nuts are calorie dense so it is rather important to stay within the suggested serving sizes. Also, if you have a little weight to lose, it will take longer for it to come off....but it WILL come off.
As a college student, you should really be starting with Phase 2. Take a look at the following links with lots of good 'college' related information. Then, let us know if you have any more questions. We're here to help!
