Hi everyone!

I'm gonna start SBD with al the positive thoughts in the world! But i need ur help to set my expectations right! first of all i am female 24 yrs, betwwen 5'6" or 7" and around 132 pounds.. i exercise regularly and im fit. however i am always on somesort of low calorie diet cuz i really gain weight in no time, and have difficulty losing it. and by difficulty i mean i could follow diets for months and lose 1 pound!!
i dont eat much rice or pasta anyway...ive done blood tests and i have low metabolism for a fact.

SO, do u guys have any insights abot SBD for me, should i super limit my portions or make sure not to eat too much veggies or anything!!

seriously any tip you say will be helpful!

thanx alot, all i want is to lose 5 pounds and keep them off!!

another question is, what if, for any unknown reason someone slepped during the diet and had 'a piece' of something not allowed, is all the effort gone!!?!

Thanks!!!

You don't have to still have your egg at breakfast but it's not a bad idea to have it because it woudl act as a carb competitor if I recall correctly (guess I need to brush back up on P2 rules after being gone for 2 years).

Just make sure that you are still eating your 4 1/2 cups of veggies per day still regardless of what phase you are in.

I'm not sure what you are planning to add as your grain and I know everyone is different but my past experience for myself was that I couldn't eat just cereal as a grain for breakfast or I'd have cravings all day. But I could eat it with a slice of cheese or Morning Star sausage patty and be ok. Or an english muffin with ham/egg/cheese or laughing cow cheese.

i love eggs in the morning, they fill me up pretty well!

well i think i'm gonna try adding a fruit for a couple of days see how this works out, as a snack after lunch with some yogurt.

then i can having 1/2 pita bread instead of the fruit.. then try having 1/2 cup of pasta with lunch instead of the bread..
to see how i feel with the addition at different times of the day...

but i dont know if adding to what i usually had means i have to remove something too..

By the way, how much is a cup of yogurt? in oz or grams, because i think in some countries there are different sizes..

thanx!

hey !!

i weighed myself and i didnt lose anymore weight in the second week of p1, but i'm not discouraged cuz i havent been at this weight for years! so phase1 : 4.5 pounds.

I know this is not considered a plateau yet, but i was wondering if there are any tips and tricks when moving from p1 to p2, given that in week2 i hadnt lost any weight..

i read the "getting started in P2" posts, it's really helpful :)
I just wanna try, as much as i can, to avoid a weight loss stall!!

today, i'm supposed to start p2, yet i had kind of a big treat! i had a piece of chocolate/caramel cake!
i seriously don't know what made me eat it! i mean i knew we were having lunch at my sis and i was planning on having a "little" pasta"..
i wasnt craving anything.. then after lunch, in a split second i decided im gonna have a piece of cake!!

i had exercised in the morning, but then i jogged again in the evening for 20 min, to get rid of all that sugar and stuff!!

but really now i TOTALLY believe that sugar makes u crave stuff later, cuz for the past two weeks i wasnt going hungry like today..

Im gonna go ahead with p2 as planned.. hope all goes well..

Hey !!

i noticed in SBD there is no direct talk about calories, but there must be some sort of vague range :S

I've been writing everything down in thedailyplate.com and i am trying to be honest about quantities i eat and all details, it seems that i eat around 1200 and 1500 on the days i exercise.
My exercise is usually 30 min on cardio, where the machine says i burnt sometimes 230 to 300 cal, and then 45 min of weights, i lift as heavy as i can ..i try to tire the muscle..

i dont wana be eating too much or too little..

Thanx

When you read the label on cheese, look for 6g or less of fat per (1 oz.) serving on the nutrition panel.
