Hi everyone!

I'm gonna start SBD with al the positive thoughts in the world! But i need ur help to set my expectations right! first of all i am female 24 yrs, betwwen 5'6" or 7" and around 132 pounds.. i exercise regularly and im fit. however i am always on somesort of low calorie diet cuz i really gain weight in no time, and have difficulty losing it. and by difficulty i mean i could follow diets for months and lose 1 pound!!
i dont eat much rice or pasta anyway...ive done blood tests and i have low metabolism for a fact.

SO, do u guys have any insights abot SBD for me, should i super limit my portions or make sure not to eat too much veggies or anything!!

seriously any tip you say will be helpful!

thanx alot, all i want is to lose 5 pounds and keep them off!!

another question is, what if, for any unknown reason someone slepped during the diet and had 'a piece' of something not allowed, is all the effort gone!!?!

Thanks!!!

"several doctors suspected i had something with the thyroid gland, so i had to do the tests. i checked it out and i realized i have most of the symptoms."

Hi Natalie, I have a low metabolism, too.

WOW i must say i'm impressed!! bravo!!

got a few questions for u though, do u count calories in any way? cuz i think if i increase the portion of lean meat the calories could go up to 1500 easily!

i do exercise, 3-4 times a week, its the best thing ever!!

and u r very right about the healthy lifestyle attitude as opposed to "diet", i always use that when i get somewhat jealous from those u just eat whatever they want whenever they want hehehe

thanks for your support and inspiration!

well my usual exercise at the gym is 30 min of cardio, elliptical trainer or stepper, sometimes jogging.. and i vary the intensity and incline..
then i do weights, i focus on upper body to tone my arms shoulders back, lifting s heavy as i can, and for the lower body i do lunges and squats, high rep no weights.. (i have a big butt so im tryin to create a balance by toning my upper body)

when i dont hit the gym, at home i jump rope, love it! and then do soome floor exercises..

i try to vary but its basically cardio then weight/toning.

i guess i should try working out more often, but i think im affraid to do that, u know when u are affraid to do "Everything" u can possibly do, in which case if u still dont lose weight u feel there is nothing else u can do...

silly feeling i know, but i guess i got to overcome it and exercise more!!

ive only got 10pounds to lose! tough tough!

hi!

i weighed myself today after, 12 days into Phase 2, and i gained 2 pounds.
in Phase 1 i lost 4.5 in the first week, then nothing in week two.

i have read in this forum that its common to gain weight when u start phase 2, how and why!?
i was keeping track of calories too, i avg around 1200 1300 after taking off calories burng in exercise.

its very frustrating because u start thinking about SBD as a healthy lifestyle and that weight loss will come along...
but when u gain its like "how come!?"

thanks in advance!

hey !!

i havent been posting anything lately that's because i couldnt follow the diet 100% or even 90%. i'm away everyweekend so its not that easy..
the good news is i make SBD as my guideline no matter what im eating.. even if its a biscuit i say well thats the grains for the day!!
the better news is i lost the weight i had gained in early P2. and i actually lost another 2 pounds.. but that was only for like one day! but im happy i saw that number on the scale!!!
AND im feeling good!

i think im gonna try sticking to SBD a little closer for the coming period, i miss the eating super healthy.. chocolates and biscuits dont have the same appeal anymore!!

Thanks!!
