So you would think that the bbq we hosted last night would have been horrible. It was far from it. *grin*
My sister in law walked in with fresh hot homemade brownies...they sured smelled nice, not sure about the taste...I didn't even sneak 1 crumb! I didn't really have a hard time staying away from them either. And to solve the pre-dinner munchies when there were 3 big bags of doritos on my counter, I pulled out some celery and cut it all up and enjoyed some sticks with my ff ranch dip! My mother in law brought a taco salad just for me too! I had a delicious feast of my own! :)
Today is day 10...I'm on the home stretch! I can't believe this weekend I'll be onto phase 2! Anyone have any good brands of ww bread they recommend and also a good cereal? Just trying to get some thought ahead of time so I can stock up on some good stuff for next week. Also, I don't quite understand the whole re-introducing thing. It says 1 starch and 1 fruit each day, and then gradually increase it. Anyways, am I supposed to pick 1 fruit and 1 starch and have only those for a certain number of days? Or could I have cereal one day and then bread the next? I think about things too much...forgive me.
Kari

Hi Kari,
Congratulations on staying away from the brownies!!! You did so good !!!
As far as bread goes, you'll need to check the labels because I have read that the ingredients change frequently. However, I did find some Nature's Own Double Fiber Whole Wheat bread. And it's pretty good. For cereal, I like Fiber One Honey Clusters. I've tried several others, but I keep going back to the Fiber One.
I think it's ok to mix up the starches and fruits from 1 day to the next. That's what I did. If you notice that any starch or fruit tends to make you hungry, I would stay away from that food item for a while.
Hope this helps!!!

Hi Kari,
I agree with Rebekah
Karen, your siggy is adorable! (Sorry to butt into this thread but Karen's siggy made me grin :)
BTW - Uncle Sam's cereal sprinkled with some splenda is my favorite. Be patient looking for breads. Seems most of us find it difficult finding a bread that meets *all* the requirements. Most of the time, I just settle for the "closest" I can find.
