Some of you might remember me starting SBD in Oct 2006. I lost 20 lbs by the end of November even though i fell off the wagon on Thanksgiving day. I continued to lose for a while even eating all kinds of junk. Then started to gain again. I tried several times to start the diet again but with Christmas approaching, it was just too hard. I have stayed off the diet for the most part (chocolate is my vice) but still have been eating whole grains as much as possible instead of the alternative. I have managed (somehow) to keep 15 lbs off but my body shape is back to the same ole way (tummy and bottom protruding). Jeans that were once loose from my body being a more normal shape have started fitting again.
I have no energy (except what my awesome vitamins give me) and I just plain dont like the way i feel or look. So on April 1 I will be starting phase 1 again, this time w/o as much support from my family. I would love to lose the 20 lbs in 2 months i did the first time, so that is my goal. I have already started walking in the evenings so that will continue and is something i didnt do before. I look forward to feeling energetic and ready for each day. I know this time i will continue and it will be a way of life long before the holidays hit again.
I noticed in Oct. there were some things the book said that were changed via the website (i guess). I am wondering if there is an updated book yet? Also, i am sure i can look this up but, is there a quick and easy south beach recipe book for vegetarians?
