I've gotten too off-track & the cravings are back. Time to start Phase 1 again once I'm done with my V8 Fusion in the fridge.

I did so well, the first time on Phase 1...whenever I reintroduce grains it just starts a deluge. Ugh!

Constantly restarting phase 1 isn't a good idea.

Maybe just a few days of phase 1 will take care of the cravings. Try moving to phase 2 - we can help troubleshoot to see what's going wrong.

Good luck!

The ONLY type of cravings phase 1 rids you of is feeling hungry again within 3 hrs of eating. So if you are eating a healthy phase 2 meal and then feel again within 3 hrs - that would be "cravings". If you see an ad on TV for McDonald's or smell some brownies your coworkers are eating - that is NOT the type of "cravings" phase 1 rids us of. That is a "desire" for a certain food and its different.

Even after 2 years I still have "desires" for certain foods if I see or smell them. I generally just try and find a healthy substitute that fills that void.

I actually haven't gone back to phase 1 since my initial start on phase 1 back in October. I've considered doing it again since then, but I haven't.

I'm going to the doctor in a month (that's the soonest I can get in) to get a full physical done because I'm skipping periods, having 2-3 weeks of PMS at a time (because I'm constantly late), seem to not be losing weight even when 100% on any plan, plus I have a benign tumor in my back that is starting to affect my muscles, so I need to get it removed.

I had a very weak moment last night, but I realize that the extended PMS time is probably sabotaging me more than anything, plus my hormones are obviously having issues, which can make weight loss difficult. The problem is that the only thing that does make me lose weight as-is is not eating, which is not healthy (since it's a loss of muscle & tissue, not fat) & not the right thing to do. Obviously, there is something out of whack in my body right now that needs to be adjusted. The problem is that I have to wait a full month to figure it out.

How old are you? I'm 45 and short of being peri-menopausal (which I am NOT), things are definately changing and heading in that direction.

A discussion with your doctor seems like a good idea.

Keep us posted.

I just turned 33.

I did get to see a doctor this morning, but not mine. I broke my toe, so working out won't be an option for me for about 4 weeks. UGH!

The good news is that I should be able to workout on the recumbent bike at the gym while it heals since I can do that & have zero pressure. Plus I can do weight training that avoids the use of that foot. There is a cardio machine at my gym that is just for the upper body, too. So, I'll just have to compensate rather than turn into a pile of goo. :)
