P1 Diet Soda/ Water recommendations

P1 Diet Soda/ Water recommendations

I'm starting sbd tomorrow. Do you find that diet soda increases your cravings? I drink one 12 oz diet coke each day now.
Are there water quantity guidelines for this?

Welcome!
I gave up diet coke years ago so I can't help you with that one.
Both my dh and I have drinking diet soda throughout and had no problems. I personally can't have more than 2 caffeinated beverages a day or else I get jittery, but no cravings for either of us.
There are SO many good non-caffeinated options though - diet root beer, diet sprite, diet/caffeine free colas, my personal fav is diet/caffeine free Dr. Pepper, "flavored" waters (like Fruit20 or the Aquafina flavored waters), Crystal Light, etc. I also like to take diet ginger ale or diet sprite and add fresh lime/lemon and sugar-free syrups to make my own flavors (raspberry/lemon, cherry/lime, vanilla, etc)
