going back to phase one...
| Mon, 04-16-2007 - 12:08pm |
I started the SBD on Jan. 1 and lost 15 lbs in the first two weeks and was super excited! So far I have lost a total of 30 lbs, but have now just stayed at the same weight for about 3 weeks. I'm a little depressed also because I have only gone down one pant size. I don't feel sorry for myself though, because I have been cheating a lot. Damn that Easter candy... So I have made the decision to go back to phase one, and hope to lose another 20 lbs before May 17, because that's when I go on vacation to California to visit family. My goal is to lose 40 more lbs, but at least 20 before my vacation. So wish me luck, and I'll keep you posted on how things go!!!

There's really no need to return to phase 1 unless you have severe, uncontrollable cravings. Phase 2 is the real weight loss phase and if you stick with it (without cheating) you will see results. Many find it easier to stay on track, without cheating, when they know they can add satisfying fruits and grains to their diet.
Which ever you choose to do, good luck and keep us posted!

Hi Katy,
Losing 20 lbs in one month, or around 5 lbs a week, is unrealistic and probably unhealthy for most people.
