OK, I'm back. I have been on and off the beach for a long time. Phase 1 kicks my butt everytime so I wind up slipping and then falling off and then well...pizza hut it is but now I'm back and I am dedicated to Phase 1! Today I followed the guidelines but a little too much ricotta came into play. I had:
b-fast: ricotta creme w./ a few almonds mixed in
Lunch: hmmm...I think I only had a few pieces of celery
Snack: handful of nut trailmix
Dinner: I was so anxious to try the mock-french toast so I did! OMG it was delicious. It actually tasted like french toast which really surprised me.
I know that my veggies are low so I'm either gonna have some V8 or some raw veggies w./ dip. Sour cream based dip is ok, right? Low-fat sour cream mixed w./ a fat free ranch dip??

Hi & welcome back!
Hi! Welcome back!
I agree with Cathy in that you should start at Phase 2. I think the addition of fruits and grains at the start will help you feel more satisfied and keep you on track. Take a look at our Starting Phase 2 link for tips on getting started and let us know if you have any questions.

Welcome back! But please, please eat more! My goodness - you almost made me feel ill looking at your menu! You are missing almost all your veggies, you are missing your dairy and you only had ricotta for protein all day day - no lean meat of any kind. Plus you are missing your morning snack, and a snack/desert/sweet treat after dinner.
I would never have made it through more than a few days if I ate like that - so I can see why you never stick it out.
