Don't dwell on it too much! Think of it this way--there are a lot worse choices you could have made than an english muffin. Depending on your exercise schedule and how much weight you have to lose, you may even consider starting in P2--ww english muffins totally allowed!

Good Luck!

I agree with Casey! Consider yourself on phase 2. Sometimes the addition of fruits and grains is enough to satisfy and keep us on track. You can lose on phase 2 = it's the real weight loss phase. Check out the Starting Phase 2 thread in the Phase 2 folder and get back to us with questions!

I cheated too. I ate two almond cookies. I felt guilty right after.

I hear you! It happens, but it's not too late. Don't throw in the towel or the day! I would say get back onto the program immediately and finish the day feeling more in control. You may want to write down, when a temptation is screaming at you, what you are thinking about right at that moment, and how you are feeling (frustrated, bored, thirsty, tired, or?) This was suggested by a behavioural psychologist in regard to fighting cravings/temptations. It is suppose to help us focus on the real reason we want that cracker or cookie or english muffin. I totally relate! I just had a battle with a box of triscuits, and I walked quickly out of the kitchen and began writing down my feelings etc. and it worked - I beat the triscuits - yay!!!!
